CalX Instrumentation Services (part of the Ellab Group) is recruiting a suitably experienced Quality Technician to join our team.

In this role you will be required to:

  • Assist in ensuring that all processes and services fully comply with and exceed demanding customer expectations, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Continually evolve best working practices and procedures to deliver ISO 9001:2015, excellence and certification. Plan, organize, control, and regularly review organisation processes to ensure the achievement of both day-to-day and longer-term targets with respect to quality.
  • Improve on all quality related issues and non-conformances/improvements.
  • Participate in management review meetings.
  • Monitor, record quality objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Assist in improving service efficiency and managing waste.
  • Assist in customer quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supplier quality assessments and improvement initiatives.
  • Identify areas for quality control improvement.
  • Assist in developing and integrating Ellab Ireland QMS – Validation, Calibration and Sales.
  • Possible opportunity to develop ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management, and ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Internal Auditing and Reviews.
  • Onsite Auditing and Reviews.
  • CPI’s – Corrective, Preventative, Improvement documentation.
  • Calibration Deviations – Document and record.
  • Impact assessments – Test equipment calibration OOT events.
  • Maintaining quality management system procedures & relative Process Maps to comply with internal/external quality regulatory standards.
  • ISO Audit Prep.
  • Liaise/Communicate to QM on quality issues.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a quality role in an engineering industry
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards and practices in quality, safety and compliance
  • Competent with office applications
  • Full clean driver’s license
  • A qualification in Health & Safety would be advantageous
